Sensorimotor Stage |

Key Features:
- 1. Learning through Senses: Child learns by touching, seeing, hearing, sucking
- 2. Object Permanence: Understands objects exist even when not seen
- 3. No Language: Communication is only through actions and reflexes
- 4. Goal-directed behavior: Starts developing towards the end of this stage
Note: This is the 1st stage of Piaget's Cognitive Development Theory.
2. Pre-Operational Stage - ପ୍ରାକ୍ ସଂକାର୍ଯ୍ୟଧର୍ମୀ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାୟ

Key Features:
- 1. Symbolic Play: Uses objects to represent something else. Ex: Stick = Gun
- 2. Egocentrism: Child thinks everyone sees the world like they do
- 3. Animism: Believes non-living things have feelings
- 4. Centration: Focuses on only 1 aspect. Can't do conservation
- 5. Language Development: Rapid increase in vocabulary
Note: This is the 2nd stage of Piaget's Cognitive Development Theory.
3. Concrete Operational Stage - ସ୍ଥୁଳ ସଂକାର୍ଯ୍ୟଧର୍ମୀ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାୟ

- 1. Conservation: Understands quantity remains same even if shape changes
- 2. Logical Thinking: Can solve problems logically with real objects
- 3. Classification: Can group and regroup objects
- 4. Seriation: Can arrange objects in series
- 5. Reversibility: Understands actions can be reversed
Note: This is the 3rd stage of Piaget's Cognitive Development Theory.
4. Formal Operational Stage - ବିମୂର୍ତ୍ତ ସଂକାର୍ଯ୍ୟଧର୍ମୀ ପର୍ଯାୟ

- 3. Deductive Reasoning: Can go from general to specific
- 4. Problem Solving: Can test multiple solutions systematically
- 5. Scientific Thinking: Can form and test hypothesis
